TOWN OF NEWBURGH

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Newburgh on August 12, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall, 1496 Route 300, Newburgh, New York, for the purpose of considering a franchise agreement for existing duct banks and a proposed overhead cable tray bridge for control signals and power service cables and related equipment  passing under and over River Road (also known as Soap Hill Road) and existing overhead powerlines passing over Danskammer Road with Roseton Generating, LLC.  Copies of the proposed franchise agreement are on file at Town Hall and may be viewed during normal business hours, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.

 

            All interested persons will have the opportunity to be heard during the Public Hearing in regard to the proposed franchise agreement.
