NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
(Pursuant to Sections 506 & 526 Real Property Tax Law)
HEARINGS OF COMPLAINTS
Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Newburgh, County of Orange, has completed the tentative Assessment Roll for the current year 2019 and that a copy is on file at the Assessor’s Office, Town Hall, 1496 Route 300 in Town of Newburgh, where it may be examined by any interested person.
The tentative Assessment Roll will be available at the Assessor’s office on:
Mon-Fri: May 1 through May 28 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Thursday: May 9 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, between 7:00 and 7:30 PM; the assessor will give a brief discussion of the grievance process, tools available, and answer general questions.
Tuesday: May 14 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Saturday: May 18 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
The Assessor will be present at all of the above meeting time if you have any questions.
The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Tuesday, May 28th between the hours of 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Town Hall, 1496 Route 300 in Town of Newburgh, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessment on the application of any person believing to be aggrieved.
